Norman Eizenberg
(Monash & Notre Dame Universities, Australia) Project Leader

Dr. Eizenberg (MBBS, FRACS Hon.) is Associate Professor in the Centre of Human Anatomy Education, Department of Anatomy & Developmental Biology as well as in the Department of Surgery, Monash Medical Centre. He is also a general medical practitioner and Head of Clinical Teaching in the Melbourne Clinical School at The University of Notre Dame. Dr. Eizenberg has coordinated anatomy teaching programs (to medical students and surgical trainees) for more than 20 years as well as being an anatomy examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. His major areas of research are in medical education and anatomical variations. In 2000, Dr. Eizenberg was awarded the Universitas 21 teaching fellowship for 'Educational Innovation'. In 2005, he received a 'Meritorious Service Award' from the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons and in 2015-16 an 'Outstanding Service Award' and Honorary Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Christopher Briggs
(The University of Melbourne, Australia)

Dr. Briggs (DipEd, BSc, MSc, PhD) is Associate Professor in Anatomy and Neuroscience at The University of Melbourne. He is also a forensic anthropologist at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine. Dr. Briggs has coordinated anatomy teaching programs (to medical, physiotherapy & science students and surgical trainees) for more than 20 years and is an anatomy examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. His major areas of research are in functional & applied anatomy and forensic anthropology.

Priscilla Barker
(Anatomedia Publishing & PhysioMoves, Australia)

Dr. Barker (B.App.Sci (Physio), PhD) is managing director and multimedia developer of Anatomedia Publishing as well as a practising physiotherapist. Dr Barker has previously lectured in and coordinated anatomy teaching and dissection programs at Melbourne and Monash Universities. Her major areas of research are in musculoskeletal anatomy and biomechanics of the spine & pelvis. In 2005, Dr. Barker was Spine Journal's 'Young Investigator of the Year'.

Ivica Grkovic
(University of Split, Croatia)

Dr. Grkovic (MD, MSc, PhD) is Professor and Head of Anatomy. He is a qualified medical practitioner and has postgraduate degrees in radiological anatomy and neuroscience. Dr Grkovic coordinates anatomy teaching programs for medical and health science students. His major areas of research are in the autonomic nervous system and neurobiology.
