Dr. Eizenberg (MBBS, HonFRACS) is Associate Professor in the Melbourne Clinical School at The University of Notre Dame and Honorary Principal Fellow in the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience at The University of Melbourne. He is Anatomy Specialty Editor for the ANZ Journal of Surgery and is also a general medical practitioner. Dr. Eizenberg has coordinated anatomy teaching programs (to medical students and surgical trainees) for more than 35 years as well as being an anatomy examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. His major areas of research are in medical education and in anatomical variations. Dr. Eizenberg has received a ‘Meritorious Service Award’ from the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons in addition to an ‘Outstanding Service Award’ and Honorary Fellowship degree from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. In 2000, he was awarded a Universitas 21 Teaching Fellowship (for ‘educational innovation’) and, in 2014, was a Victorian Australian of the Year finalist (for ‘outstanding contribution: anatomist, doctor and educationalist’).

Dr. Grkovic (MD, MSc, PhD) is Professor and Head of Anatomy at the University of Split School of Medicine and Honorary Fellow in the Department of Anatomy & Neuroscience at The University of Melbourne. He has postgraduate degrees in radiological anatomy and neuroscience. Dr Grkovic coordinates anatomy teaching programs for medical and health science students in Croatian and in English. His major areas of research include neurobiology of the autonomic nervous system, gross anatomy and medical education. Dr Grkovic is President of the Croatian Society of Morphologists.

Dr Briggs (DipEd, BSc, MSc, PhD) is Professor in Anatomy in the Faculty of Health, School of Medicine at Deakin University as well as Honorary Fellow and Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience at The University of Melbourne. He is Visiting Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at James Cook University and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Forensic medicine at Monash University. He has coordinated anatomy teaching programs (to medical, physiotherapy, biomedicine and science students as well as surgical trainees) for more than 35 years and is an anatomy examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. His major areas of research are in functional and applied anatomy as well as forensic anthropology. Dr Briggs was a forensic anthropologist at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine and was President of the Australian & New Zealand Association of Clinical Anatomists.
